Google Earth is seriously the coolest piece of software out there. I can spend hours and hours looking at things in a way I would otherwise be unable to. I understand that by saying this I’m just repeating Dr. Helmer, but looking at things spatially does bring a new understanding to them. Concordia Seminary in St. Louis used Google Earth to create a KML file that illustrates placements of calls and vicarage assignments. Major props to the sem for using technology such as Google Earth to make things a little bit easier to see. Whoever made the file created a great-looking, easy to understand file that’s very simple to use. I was also interested in it because I know at least three of the vicars.
